Brazil 2014: FIFA World Cup

The 2014 FIFAWorld Cup in Brazil has been a roller coaster ride for so many countries. Who would have guessed both Spain and England would not make it out of group play? Who would have guessed the US would have gotten past Portugal and Ghana to get out of the group of death?

Through all the tears and shouts of joy for each team, only two have emerged to compete for the final. Germany and Argentina will face off on Sunday, July 13th to see who will be crowned champions of the world until 2018. Here at SportsFansSpeak we want to give a little run down on the two teams and let you know who we think will be the winner.

Germany: the German side has an excellent midfield with so many talented players. Germany plays soccer like a team, they seem to have real chemistry together and that has really shown on the field. They are always moving the ball around in the midfield getting their teammates very good looks. An area of weakness for them is their back line. They have a hard time keeping up with the quicker more finesse players in the tournament.

Argentina: this Argentina squad is full of so many talented, offensively minded players. They play a lot of artistic soccer as compared to the German's team playing style. Their roster is so full of gifted scorers that they haven't had much difficulty in scoring in this tournament. A set back for them however is because of their scoring players they like to create their own shots. This leaves the other players on the field just standing around waiting to see what will happen.
